Energy for Peace and Prosperity: NLNG and NNPC Take Centre Stage at NIES 2026

The Nigeria International Energy Summit (NIES) 2026 is set to bring together key stakeholders in the energy sector, with Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) and NNPC Limited among the prominent participants.

NLNG will be showcasing its energy solutions for peace, prosperity, and sustainability at Booth A7, while NNPC Limited’s Pavilion will highlight its integrated presence and efforts to drive collaboration and innovation in the sector.

Nembe Exploration and Production Company Limited is also making waves, with its Group Managing Director, Mr. Victor Okoronkwo, reiterating the company’s dedication to advancing local capacity and contributing to Nigeria’s energy future. Nembe E&P is exploring strategic alliances with NNPC Limited to accelerate growth and efficiency across Nigeria’s energy value chain.

Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Ekperikpe Ekpo, has emphasized the need for a shift from compliance-driven local content implementation to performance-based competitiveness. He urged stakeholders to focus on practical frameworks, measurable outcomes, and scalable models that translate gas-sector local content into a driver of inclusive and sustainable prosperity.

The event promises to be a platform for meaningful conversations and insights on energy solutions for peace, prosperity, and sustainability.

NNPC Limited is playing a crucial role in promoting local content, with its Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, set to discuss Nigeria’s energy future at the summit.
