FRSC Opens 2026 Recruitment July 3: Free Application for Officers, Inspectors, and Marshals

The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has opened applications for its 2026 recruitment exercise, calling on qualified Nigerians to fill vacancies across three cadres.

According to a recruitment notice dated June 24 and signed on behalf of the Corps Marshal by Deputy Corps Marshal, Administration and Human Resources, Pauline Olaye, the online portal will be active for four weeks from Friday, July 3, 2026.

The Corps stressed that the entire process is free. It warned applicants against paying anyone or group for job opportunities.

How to Apply
Applications will be accepted only online via the FRSC’s official recruitment portal from July 3, 2026. The window closes four weeks later.

Applicants are advised to use personal email addresses and phone numbers for registration. Shortlisted candidates will be required to present printed copies of their completed forms during screening.

Vacant Cadres and Requirements

1. Officer CadreAges 18 to 35
Ranks: Superintendent Route Commander, Route Commander/Deputy Route Commander, Assistant Route Commander.
Eligible professionals: Medical doctors, chemists, nurses, medical laboratory scientists, lawyers, engineers, and graduates with http://B.Sc, BA or HND certificates, based on the specific role.

2. Marshal Inspectorate CadreAges 18 to 30
For holders of NCE, ND/OND, Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife, and Community Health Extension Worker certificates.

3. Road Marshal Assistant Cadre
Minimum of three SSCE credits including English Language and Mathematics.
Skilled professionals such as computer operators, mechanics, electricians, plumbers, tailors, motorbike riders and drivers may apply with relevant trade certificates and licences. Drivers and riders must have a valid driver’s licence for the appropriate class. Articulated vehicle and tow-truck drivers must be aged 26 to 40.

General Eligibility
The FRSC said all applicants must be Nigerian by birth, computer literate, medically fit, single, and of good character. They must be free from financial indebtedness and must not have been convicted of any criminal offence.

Height requirements are a minimum of 1.65 metres for males and 1.58 metres for females. Applicants must have no tattoos and must declare all qualifications at the point of recruitment. “Undeclared qualifications will not be accepted for future career progression within the Corps,” the notice read.

Pregnant women are not eligible to participate in the exercise.
