The Coordinator of HAMA for Ododo in Olamaboro Ward 3, Honourable Sadiq Mohammed, has called on members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress to turn out en masse for the One Million March in support of the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

Honourable Sadiq Mohammed, popularly known as Iye Agwodaba, made the call while addressing party faithful ahead of the rally scheduled to hold on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Okpo, the headquarters of Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State.

He urged party supporters, particularly women and youths, to participate actively in the march, describing the event as a demonstration of appreciation for the developmental strides of the Ododo administration.

“The continued support for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo will ensure that Okpo Centre and its surrounding communities enjoy more dividends of democracy through the execution of meaningful development projects.”

According to him, sustaining support for the governor will translate to more infrastructure, empowerment programmes and social interventions for residents of Okpo Centre and adjoining communities.

Honourable Sadiq Mohammed also commended the Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Honourable Monday Aridaojo, for his initiative, leadership, and unwavering support towards the success of the planned rally.

He expressed confidence that the One Million March would further strengthen the unity of the APC in Olamaboro and reaffirm the commitment of the people to the re-election of both President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

Party faithful at the meeting pledged full mobilization across the ward ahead of the event, which organizers say will be one of the largest political gatherings in the local government this year.
