…India pledges active participation in Abuja global event as Neliaku deepens bilateral ties

ABUJA — The President and Chairman of Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, Dr. Ike Neliaku, on Tuesday met with the Indian High Commissioner to Nigeria, H.E. Ambassador Abhishek Singh, in Abuja to seek partnership for the forthcoming World Public Relations Forum.
Neliaku briefed the High Commissioner on the WPRF, scheduled to hold from 15th to 21st November, 2026, and requested the High Commission’s support toward a successful hosting of the global event in Nigeria.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to deepen discussions on other areas of mutually beneficial relationship between the Institute and India.
Ambassador Singh expressed delight at the quality of the Institute’s projects and programmes. He assured that India will participate actively at the WPRF and in other initiatives of the NIPR.
