The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has condoled with the Nigerian Air Force over the death of its personnel in an aircraft crash in Ondo State.
In a letter addressed to the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa (rtd), expressed the agency’s sympathy to the NAF leadership, officers and men, as well as families of the deceased.
Marwa described the crash as devastating, saying the news was received with profound grief.
He commended the Nigerian Air Force for its patriotism, gallantry and commitment to defending the nation, describing the loss of personnel dedicated to national service as a major blow to the service and the wider national security community.
“In this moment of deep sorrow, our thoughts and prayers are with the grieving families of the fallen heroes, as well as the entire NAF family,” Marwa said.
He prayed for comfort for the bereaved families, strength for the Nigerian Air Force and eternal rest for the departed, and assured the Air Force of the solidarity of NDLEA’s officers, men and women as the service and the families mourn.
