Abdulmalik Sani Gabaidu commended Governor Ododo and party stakeholders for a level playing field, and called on aggrieved aspirants to support the winners for party cohesion.

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State, Abdulmalik Sani Gabaidu, has praised the conduct of the party’s recent House of Assembly and Senatorial primaries, describing the exercise as transparent, peaceful, and reflective of the party’s democratic ideals.

Gabaidu said Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and other party stakeholders created a conducive atmosphere that ensured a level playing field for all contestants across the state’s three senatorial districts. He gave the commendation in Lokoja while reacting to the outcome of the primaries.

“The fairness demonstrated by the party leadership and the state government contributed significantly to the smooth conduct of the elections and the emergence of candidates accepted by the majority of party members,” he said.

He appealed to aggrieved aspirants and their supporters to put aside grievances and rally behind the candidates who emerged victorious.

“Collective support for the party’s candidates remains crucial to strengthening the APC and sustaining its dominance in Kogi State,” Gabaidu stated.

The APC stalwart also thanked youths and women across the state for their maturity, patience, and steadfastness during the process. He commended them for maintaining peace and order and resisting actions that could have led to violence.

Gabaidu urged party faithful to remain united and committed to the party’s progress, stressing that unity and cooperation would be key to achieving greater political success in Kogi.
