APC Extends Electronic Membership Registration Deadline to February 8

By Danjuma Amodu | January 30, 2026

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced an extension of its electronic membership registration exercise to February 8, 2026, following requests from party stakeholders. This decision was taken at the party’s 183rd National Working Committee (NWC) meeting held in Abuja.

According to a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the extension aims to enable more supporters and members to register and validate their membership.

The party also adjusted its congresses and national convention dates, with ward congresses scheduled for February 18, 2026, and the national convention set for March 27-28, 2026.

However, Osun State, Ekiti State, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) are excluded from the scheduled congresses due to upcoming elections, while Rivers State is excluded due to the subsisting tenure of the current executive committees of the party in the state.

The statement further stated that details on the adjusted congress and national convention timetable and schedule of activities will be announced in due course.
