The Nigerian LNG’s Change Your Story Capacity Workshop has concluded its 16th edition, strengthening journalism in Nigeria by equipping media professionals with cutting-edge skills to thrive in the digital age.

The three-day workshop, held in Abuja, focused on emerging trends in journalism, including AI-driven reporting and multimedia storytelling. Participants explored the latest tools and techniques to enhance their craft, with experts sharing insights on navigating the complexities of modern media.

Anne-Marie Palmer-Ikuku, Manager, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at NLNG, welcomed participants, highlighting the initiative’s sustained impact since its launch in 2014. “This is the 16th edition of this programme, and over 400 journalists in Nigeria have benefited from this digital skill enhancement programme,” she said. “This workshop is a demonstration of our respect for good journalism.”

Dr. Sophia Horsfall, General Manager, External Relations at NLNG, closed the workshop with a call to action, urging participants to apply their newfound knowledge to elevate the standard of journalism. “The bar isn’t just raised, it’s skyrocketed. Now go unleash it: Change your story, change the world,” she said, reaffirming NLNG’s partnership with the media.

The workshop is part of NLNG’s commitment to promoting quality storytelling and supporting the growth of journalism in Nigeria.
