RTIFN Launches Nationwide Students’ Campaign on Renewed Hope Agenda

By Hassan Hussain

The National Directorate of Townhall, Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), says it will commence a nationwide students’ outreach programme across tertiary institutions in the country.

A statement jointly signed by the National Director of RTIFN, Honourable Deborah Farida Ibrahim, and the Director of Students and Youth Engagement, Comrade Adakole Ochai, says the initiative will be implemented in universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, schools of nursing and other approved institutions across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The statement explains that the programme, themed “Students for Renewed Hope and National Development,” is aimed at sensitising students to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while promoting active youth participation in governance and nation-building.

According to the organisation, the outreach will focus on leadership development, political awareness and national unity among young Nigerians.

RTIFN notes that participants will also be enlightened on the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, civic responsibilities, voter participation, student empowerment opportunities, as well as engage in interactive town hall sessions with student and youth leaders.

The group emphasises the need for students to play constructive roles in the nation’s democratic process through peaceful engagement and responsible leadership.

RTIFN has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission and the management of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund to support the initiative, saying such collaboration will enhance voter education and awareness of educational opportunities available to students.

The organisation also commended student bodies, youth stakeholders and media organisations for supporting youth-focused programmes nationwide.

RTIFN further applauded the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, the Director-General of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria, Charles Odii, and Seyi Tinubu for their contributions to youth empowerment and national development.

The group urged Student Union Governments, the National Association of Nigerian Students and youths across the country to actively participate in the programme.
