The Xoloramines family, an association of like minds committed to philanthropic gestures and enlightenment programmes, has congratulated its active member, High Chief Lord Gabriel Limeabe, popularly known as Lord Gabby, on his conferment with the prestigious Igbo traditional title of Ezi Enyi Ndigbo translating to — Good Friend of the Igbo People.
The honour was conferred on him by the Supreme Council of Igbo Traditional Chiefs, Karu Local Government Area, Nasarawa State, during a colourful ceremony attended by traditional rulers, chiefs, community leaders, friends, and members of Xoloramines Network.
The recognition, according to the Supreme Council, is in appreciation of Lord Gabby’s outstanding commitment to unity, peace, and the welfare of the Igbo community, as well as his consistent efforts in promoting inter-ethnic harmony and community development.
The conferment ceremony drew a large turnout of dignitaries and well-wishers who gathered to witness the bestowal of the title, which symbolises friendship, trust, solidarity and peaceful coexistence.
The CEO of Xoloramines Network, Ojo Ayodeji Michael, popularly referred to as Dejittruth, on behalf of the group felicitate with the celebrant.
In a statement made available to Newsworth Newspaper, he described the honour as a proud moment for the association.
“This honour is a testament to Lord Gabby’s consistency in building bridges across communities. At Xoloramines Network, we stand for service to humanity, unity and enlightenment. Seeing one of our active members recognised in this way affirms the values we promote,” Dejittruth stated.
He added that Lord Gabby who is a Rotarian has remained a strong voice for philanthropy and community service within Xoloramines family, often championing initiatives that touch lives across different regions.
According to the Supreme Council, the title Ezi Enyi Ndigbo is reserved for individuals who, regardless of background, have demonstrated genuine goodwill and support for Ndigbo. The Council noted that Lord Gabby’s contributions to peaceful coexistence and development in Karu LGA and beyond made him a worthy recipient.
In his response, High Chief Lord Gabriel Limeabe expressed appreciation to His Royal Highness, Igwe Sir Prof. Ochendo, and members of the Supreme Council for finding him worthy of the honour.
“I accept this title with humility. It is a responsibility to continue promoting peace, unity and community development,” Lord Gabby said.
He described the recognition as both a privilege and a call to greater responsibility in promoting harmony between Ndigbo and other ethnic groups across Nigeria.
Xoloramines family pledged to continue working with Lord Gabby and Nigerians to advance initiatives that foster friendship, development and cultural understanding. The association reaffirmed its commitment to supporting leaders and members who promote unity and service to humanity.
The event ended with celebrations, cultural displays, prayers and goodwill messages from traditional leaders and guests, who described the conferment as timely and deserving.
