FIRST LADY’S GENEROSITY TAKES HER TO TARABA AS SHE DONATES 3 MOBILE AMBULANCES

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has continued her philanthropic efforts, donating three mobile clinic units to boost healthcare delivery in underserved areas. The mobile clinics were handed over to the Taraba State Government and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Abuja.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Senator Tinubu described the initiative as “care in action, a motion to strengthen health care delivery beyond hospital walls, improve access, shorten response times, and support flexible services, especially in emergencies and underserved areas through professional health care givers.”

The First Lady emphasised that the donation was non-partisan, highlighting her commitment to serving all Nigerians regardless of political affiliation. “We’re all Nigerians. Party politics aside, but we have to provide a dividend of democracy to our people. And it’s people first before party, and that’s what we’ve been doing,” she said.

The Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas, thanked Senator Tinubu for the donation, noting that it would go a long way in improving healthcare coverage in the state. He commended the First Lady for stretching her scope of generosity beyond political party lines.

“This is not just hope or a facility but hope on wheel or like you say love on wheel, it is a life saving intervention that will reached communities that have waited for long. Communities where access to quality health care has remained challenged,” Governor Kefas said.

The mobile clinics were part of the Renewed Hope Initiative’s (RHI) Love on Wheels project, aimed at improving healthcare delivery in underserved areas. The First Lady prayed for responsible use of the clinics to save lives and complement state efforts.
