Transcorp Hotels Plc, the hospitality subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc, has reported a record-breaking revenue of N97.04bn in 2025, marking a 38% increase from N70.13bn in the previous year.
This was contained in the company’s audited financial reports, filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited. The report attributes the growth to robust demand in room bookings, conferencing, food and beverage services, and other ancillary offerings.
The company’s gross profit margin expanded to 77% from 71% in FY 2024, driven by increased volumes, effective cost management, and operational efficiencies. Operating profit hit N35.24bn, up 35% from N26.03bn in 2024, while profit before tax rose by 45% to N32.82bn from N22.61bn in FY 2024. Profit after tax surged 47% to N21.85bn from N14.90bn.
Transcorp Hotels’ total assets grew 14% to N159.91bn, reflecting substantial investments in physical facilities, while total equity increased to N95.23bn from N80.52bn.
The company’s Board Chair, Dr Awele Elumelu, lauded the FY 2025 performance, citing a strong foundation for future growth.
Similarly, Managing Director Uzoamaka Oshogwe attributed the success to disciplined operational efficiency, cost management, and the team’s commitment to service excellence.
The company plans to invest in transformative infrastructure, including the 5,000-seat Transcorp Centre, to position Nigeria as a premier global convening destination
