Tems and Burna Boy have made history, becoming the African artists with the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Their latest collaborations on J. Cole’s album “The Fall-Off” have earned them new spots, with Tems’ “Bounce Road Blues” debuting at No. 34 and Burna Boy’s “Only You” at No. 78.

This achievement marks a milestone in Afrobeats’ global expansion, showcasing the genre’s growing influence and popularity. Burna Boy’s streak of six consecutive years on the chart is unprecedented, solidifying his position as a global music icon. Tems, on the other hand, has become the first African female artist to record seven entries on the chart, with three entries this year alone.

Their success underscores the increasing recognition of African music worldwide, paving the way for future generations of artists.
