Tems and Burna Boy have made history, becoming the African artists with the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Their latest collaborations on J. Cole’s album “The Fall-Off” have earned them new spots, with Tems’ “Bounce Road Blues” debuting at No. 34 and Burna Boy’s “Only You” at No. 78.
This achievement marks a milestone in Afrobeats’ global expansion, showcasing the genre’s growing influence and popularity. Burna Boy’s streak of six consecutive years on the chart is unprecedented, solidifying his position as a global music icon. Tems, on the other hand, has become the first African female artist to record seven entries on the chart, with three entries this year alone.
