Broda Shaggi Hospitalised After Alleged Shooting During Skit Filming

Popular Nigerian comedian and skit maker Samuel Perry, widely known as Broda Shaggi, has been hospitalised after sustaining a gunshot injury while filming a comedy skit under the Sango-Ota bridge in Ogun State.

The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, and details surrounding the shooting remain unclear. A police source revealed that Broda Shaggi was rushed to Blooming Care Hospital in Lagos for initial treatment and later referred to Duchess Hospital in Ikeja, where he is currently recuperating.

The Lagos State Police Command confirmed that the hospital alerted them about the case, and detectives have been mobilised to investigate.

However, the Ogun State Police Command stated that the incident had not been officially reported to them.
