An Abuja-bound Kaduna train derailed near Asham, leaving several passengers injured, the incident is confirmed by the Managing Director of Nigeria RailwayCorporation (NRC), Kayode Opeifa.
Opeifa stated that the injured passengers were taken to Idu train station for medical attention with no fatalities reported. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident, he added.
