APC Chieftain Lauds Peaceful Kogi House of Reps Primary, Urges Fair Senatorial Contest

Hon. AbdulMalik Gabaidu credits Governor Ododo for upholding internal democracy in Olamaboro LGA

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Olamaboro Local Government Area, Hon. AbdulMalik Sani Gabaidu, has congratulated Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo on the conduct of the House of Representatives primary election, describing it as peaceful and credible.

In a statement issued in Okpo, Gabaidu said the exercise was a reflection of the governor’s commitment to internal democracy and party unity in Kogi State. He commended party leaders, stakeholders and electoral officials for ensuring a smooth and transparent process.

The APC chieftain also appealed to Governor Ododo and the party leadership to ensure that the senatorial primary scheduled for tomorrow is conducted freely, fairly and transparently to strengthen confidence among party members and the electorate.

Gabaidu expressed optimism that the APC would emerge stronger and more united ahead of future elections in the state.
