The Kogi State Chapter of the CityBoy Movement (CBM) has strengthened its leadership structure with the inauguration of Hon. Sanusi Mamman as Deputy Director.
The inauguration was announced by the Director of the Movement in Kogi State, Chief Ogah Mark Okpanachi, in an official statement on Monday.
Okpanachi said Mamman’s appointment will further consolidate the leadership of the chapter and underscores the Movement’s commitment to building a purposeful, inclusive and result-driven team.
He congratulated the new Deputy Director and charged him to deploy his wealth of experience and dedication to the service of members and the ideals of the Movement.
“On behalf of the Kogi State Chapter, I warmly welcome him to this important responsibility. We look forward to working together as one united team to Inform, Engage and Empower our people,” Okpanachi stated.
Mamman’s inauguration comes as the Movement continues to expand its grassroots footprint across the state. The CityBoy Movement, a youth-driven socio-political group affiliated with the All Progressives Congress (APC) and inspired by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s CityBoy brand championed by Seyi Tinubu, has grown to over 5,000 registered members across the 21 Local Government Areas of Kogi State, averaging over 230 members per Local Government Area.
In recent weeks, the Kogi Chapter has scaled up its activities with ward-to-ward sensitization, a solidarity rally in Lokoja in support of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, and an ongoing membership and PVC awareness drive targeting first-time voters and young professionals.
Built on its mantra of Inform, Engage and Empower, the Movement has emerged as one of the most visible support groups in Kogi, working closely with youth and student bodies.
