KACRAN Rates Buni’s Seven-Year Performance at 99%, Hails Impact on Agriculture, Education

The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria has commended Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni for what it described as outstanding leadership and transformative governance over the past seven years, rating his administration’s performance at 99 per cent.

In a statement marking the governor’s seventh anniversary in office, KACRAN National President Hon. Khalil Mohd Bello said Governor Buni had distinguished himself through people-oriented policies that have significantly improved agriculture, education, commerce, youth empowerment, and livestock development in the state.

The association noted that the governor’s interventions in agriculture have boosted food production through the provision of tractors, harvesters, fertilizers, and other farming inputs, many of which were distributed free of charge or at subsidized rates to farmers across the state.

According to KACRAN, the administration’s decision to establish a dedicated Ministry of Livestock Development demonstrated its commitment to strengthening one of the state’s most important economic sectors while also ensuring that competent individuals were entrusted with key government responsibilities.

The group further praised the governor’s efforts to stimulate economic activities through the construction of modern markets in major towns, saying the projects have enhanced commercial opportunities and positioned Yobe as an emerging business destination in the North-East.

KACRAN also highlighted what it described as remarkable progress in the education sector, arguing that investments in schools, infrastructure, and human capital development have helped improve the state’s educational standing and competitiveness.

The association added that thousands of youths and women have benefited from employment opportunities, empowerment schemes, and financial support programmes aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and economic self-reliance.

Beyond his achievements in Yobe State, KACRAN acknowledged Governor Buni’s influence in national politics, citing his previous role as Chairman of the APC Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee and his current responsibility as chairman of the ruling party’s reconciliation committee.

The group said the governor had demonstrated exceptional conflict-resolution skills and political maturity in managing internal party disputes, earning him a reputation as a unifying figure within the All Progressives Congress.

The association concluded that the governor’s seventh anniversary deserved celebration by both the people of Yobe State and members of the APC, whom it said had benefited from his leadership, commitment to unity, and dedication to public service.

Governor Buni, who assumed office in 2019, has continued to receive endorsements from various groups and stakeholders who credit his administration with driving development initiatives across the state while maintaining a visible presence in national political affairs.
