Teach skills, don’t do it all,
Let them learn, stand tall.
Washing clothes, cooking meals,
Let them try, let them feel.
Decision-making, let them choose,
Small mistakes, let them lose.
Financial wisdom, teach with care,
Money management, show they can share.
Emotional strength, build with love,
Handle failure, rise above.
Fear not respect, teach with kindness,
Confidence grows, independence finds.
Practical skills, teach with patience,
Cooking, cleaning, no excuse to dance.
Values and faith, guide with heart,
Let them stand, let them start.
Your goal isn’t to be needed always,
Make them strong, with skills to raise.
Let them fly, let them soar,
That’s parenting success, forevermore.
