Zenith Bank’s Manchester Debut Bolsters Nigerian Financial Clout, says Oyedele

The grand opening of Zenith Bank’s Manchester branch underscores Nigeria’s growing presence in global finance. Minister of State for Finance, Taiwo Oyedele, hailed the expansion as a testament to Nigeria’s competitiveness, innovation, and international leadership.

“This milestone reflects Nigeria’s capability to lead internationally,” Oyedele said in a post on his verified X handle. He commended Zenith Bank’s role in strengthening Nigeria’s financial ecosystem and fostering global partnerships.

“Institutions like Zenith Bank are pivotal in positioning Nigeria globally,” Oyedele noted, lauding the bank’s Board, Management, and Staff for their achievement. “Manchester is now truly Red,” he added, referencing the bank’s brand colour.
