The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has secured dual ISO certifications: ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management and ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management, awarded by MSECB Canada.
These certifications confirm that FAAN’s operational and environmental management systems meet globally recognised standards, positioning Nigeria’s airports to compete more effectively on the global aviation stage.
The ISO 9001:2015 certification ensures FAAN’s quality management system meets international standards, while the ISO 14001:2015 certification recognises FAAN’s efforts to minimise its environmental impact.
According to FAAN’s Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Henry Agbebire, who disclosed this on FAAN official X (Formerly Twitter) handled reiterates that this achievement strengthens FAAN’s institutional credibility and positions Nigeria’s airports among the world’s best.
FAAN’s Managing Director, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku praised the dedication and professionalism of its workforce in achieving this milestone, reflecting FAAN’s commitment to delivering efficient, safe, and customer-focused airport services while promoting sustainable environmental practices.
