The UKOMU Igala Organisation is set to host a fundraising dinner in Abuja on March 21, aimed at mobilising resources for community development projects under the Igala/Bassa Renaissance Project.
The event, scheduled to take place at the Armed Forces Officers’ Mess, Asokoro, Abuja, is expected to bring together sons and daughters of the Igala and Bassa ethnic group, alongside key stakeholders and supporters.
According to a statement by the organisation’s management, the dinner aims to strengthen unity among Igala and Bassa people while generating funds to support strategic interventions across their communities.
According to the statement, the organisation is targeting N500m from the event to drive critical development programmes and sustain the Renaissance Agenda.
Traditional leaders, professionals, and well-meaning Nigerians have been urged to attend and contribute to the initiative’s success, the statement added.

The event is seen as a crucial step in fostering unity and driving development in the Igala and Bassa communities.
