The CityBoy Movement, Kogi State Chapter, has joined the Kogi State Government and family to mourn former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, who died at the age of 77.
In a condolence statement issued by the Office of the State Media Director on behalf of the State Director, Hon. Ogah Mark Okpanachi, the Movement said the late former governor was a towering figure in the political evolution of Kogi State.
It noted that Alhaji Idris, who served as Governor between 2003 and 2012, left a legacy of service that will continue to be remembered.
The Movement extended its condolences to the Kogi State Government, the Idris family, associates and the entire people of the state at this difficult moment.
While praying for the repose of his soul, the Movement asked Almighty God to forgive his shortcomings, grant him eternal rest and give his family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
