The Coalition of Political Parties, Kogi East, has congratulated Hon. Joseph Erico on his successful screening to contest for the Kogi East Senatorial seat under the All Progressives Congress in the 2027 general elections.
Hon. Joseph Erico, a former APC chieftain and community leader, is seeking to represent Kogi East in the Senate.
In a statement, National President Comrade Usman Suleiman Abubakar said the outcome of the screening reflects growing confidence in Erico’s leadership capacity and political experience.
“Hon. Erico’s successful screening is a clear indication that the party recognizes his capacity and commitment to service. We believe he has the qualities needed to effectively represent the people of Kogi East in the National Assembly,” Abubakar said.
He expressed optimism that the APC aspirant would secure the party’s ticket and go on to deliver effective representation.
Comrade Suleiman Abubakar wished Erico success in the forthcoming electoral process and described him as the best candidate for the job.
The coalition urged party faithful and supporters across Kogi East to remain united and committed to the ideals of the APC ahead of the 2027 elections.
