Kogi East is no longer in a season of politics as usual. It has entered a full-scale political combat zone. The battle lines have been drawn, the camps are forming, and the struggle for the Senate, House of Representatives, and State House of Assembly is now a test of strength, structure, and substance.
But let me sound this warning with clarity and conviction: not everyone on the ballot deserves to be on the battlefield. Leadership is not for the loudest voices or the highest bidders. It is for those with tested capacity, proven courage, and unquestionable credibility. This sudden surge of aspirants, including those without political depth or grassroots connection, is a distraction from the real mission of liberating our land.
To the people of Igala land, this is not the time to be spectators. This is the time to become political warriors — alert, strategic, and united. We must dismantle the machinery of deceit, reject the agents of political sycophancy, and confront the forces that have held our progress hostage. Division is their weapon, but unity must be our shield and sword.
We can no longer afford to mortgage our future to opportunists and loyalty merchants who thrive on propaganda rather than performance. The days of blind followership are over. This is the era of political resistance, ideological clarity, and grassroots revolution.
To every contestant, take note: this race is not a ceremonial parade. It is a battlefield of accountability. The people are no longer asleep. They are mobilised, they are conscious, and they are ready to defend their mandate with every democratic tool available. If you lack the vision, the competence, and the political will to serve, then withdraw from this race before the people reject you at the polls.
Kogi East must rise — not as a fragmented territory, but as a formidable political force with a united voice and a common destiny. Our strength lies in our collective resolve, our unity of purpose, and our refusal to be used as pawns in selfish political chess games.
This is more than an election. It is a movement. A movement for justice, for development, and for the total emancipation of Igala land.
Aluta continua! The struggle continues — but this time, victory must be ours.
