Michael Idoko Validates PDP Membership as E-Registration Exercise Gathers Pace

By Danjuma Amodu | March 18, 2026

Michael Samuel Idoko, a PDP chieftain and Kogi State House of Assembly aspirant for Olamaboro Constituency, has validates his e-registration, describing the process as a crucial step towards strengthening internal democracy, transparency, and grassroots engagement within the party.

Idoko, seeking to represent Olamaboro Constituency in the Kogi State Assembly, hailed the e-registration process as a major boost to the PDP’s internal democracy, transparency, and grassroots mobilisation efforts.

Immediately after completing his registering, Idoko reaffirmed his steadfast loyalty to the PDP, stressing that validating his membership reflects his dedication to the party’s vision and leadership.

“Today, I have taken a bold step to reaffirm my membership of the Peoples Democratic Party through the ongoing e-registration process. This is not just a formality, earmarking of my belief in the PDP as a platform for true democratic governance and people-oriented leadership,” Idoko stated.

The PDP remains a beacon of hope for Nigerians, especially as citizens seek credible alternatives, said Idoko, the Olamaboro Assembly hopeful.

“The PDP remains the strongest opposition party in Nigeria today. It is a party with structure, history, and the capacity to reposition our country for growth and development. Nigerians must rally around this platform if we are to achieve the change we desire,” he added.

Idoko highlighted his leadership vision, pledging to prioritise the welfare of his constituents and champion policies that would drive development in Olamaboro if elected into office.

“My aspiration is rooted in service. I am committed to providing quality representation, empowering our people, and ensuring that the voices of Olamaboro constituents are heard at the state level,” he said.

Idoko called on young people and party loyalists to seize the opportunity of the e-registration exercise to officially align with the PDP, emphasizing that active involvement is vital for building a strong political framework.

“I urge all Nigerians, especially the youth, to register and become active members of the PDP. The future of our democracy depends on our collective involvement. Together, we can rebuild trust, strengthen our institutions, and move Nigeria forward,” Idoko urged.

The PDP’s e-registration initiative is part of broader efforts by the party to modernise its membership database and enhance participation ahead of future electoral activities.

The PDP’s National Working Committee has urged all members to take part in the e-registration exercise, which is being carried out both online and at designated registration centres nationwide, to ensure broad participation and update the party’s membership database.
