Prominent APC chieftain in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State, Abdulmalik Sani Gabaidu, has congratulated Hon. Chief Joseph Erico on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress candidate for Kogi East Senatorial District following the recently concluded party primary election.
Speaking with journalists in Imane, Kogi State, Gabaidu described Chief Joseph Erico’s victory as a well-deserved mandate and a clear reflection of the confidence party delegates and stakeholders across Kogi East have in his leadership capacity.
He commended the peaceful and transparent conduct of the primary election, stating that the exercise showcased the unity, strength, and democratic values of the APC in Kogi State.

According to him, Chief Joseph Erico’s emergence signals a new era of purposeful leadership and quality representation for the people of Kogi East. He expressed confidence that the APC flag bearer possesses the experience, vision, and commitment required to attract meaningful development to the district.
Gabaidu also praised Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for ensuring a free, fair, and credible primary election process. He noted that the governor’s leadership continues to strengthen internal democracy, unity, and stability within the APC.
He further appreciated party leaders, stakeholders, youths, women, and supporters for their dedication and unwavering commitment to the success of the party across Kogi East and the state at large.
Calling for unity ahead of the forthcoming senatorial election, Gabaidu urged all APC members and supporters to rally behind Chief Joseph Erico to secure victory for the party.
