Eid-el-Kabir: Ukomu Igala Organization urges prayers for peace, unity and progress

The National Leader of Ukomu Igala Organization, Major General James Alilu Ataguba (Rtd), PhD, has felicitated Muslim faithful in Igala/Bassa land and across the country ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

In a Sallah message issued on behalf of the Board of Trustees and National Executive Committee of the organization, Major General Ataguba congratulated all Muslim sons and daughters of Igala/Bassa extraction and their families on the joyous occasion.

He prayed that Almighty Allah would accept their acts of worship and grant them their heart’s desires. He also called on the faithful to use the solemn occasion to seek divine blessings for their families, communities, Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole.

The National Leader urged Muslims to offer special prayers for unity, peace and sustainable progress in Igala/Bassa land, Kogi State and the nation.

Major General Ataguba stressed the need for citizens to reflect on the virtues of obedience to Allah, devotion in worship and selfless service to humanity, which he described as the enduring lessons of Eid-el-Kabir.

He further called on the people to strengthen the bonds of love, tolerance and mutual understanding among themselves, noting that these values are essential for peaceful coexistence and development.

The Ukomu Igala Organization leader prayed that the blessings associated with the festival and the sacrifices made in obedience to Allah would continue to abide with all the faithful.

Major General Ataguba wished all Muslim faithful a happy and peaceful Eid-el-Kabir celebration in advance and prayed for Allah’s guidance and blessings upon them always.
