An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Omeyi Ibrahim, has commended Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho for his commitment to the development of Kogi East through constituency projects and empowerment programmes.

Speaking with journalists, Ibrahim described the senator’s interventions in Igala land as “impactful and people-oriented,” noting that they are already improving livelihoods across the nine local government areas of the district.

He specifically praised the construction of modern markets in Ugbamaka Igah and Ojoku communities, as well as the provision of portable water and solar energy projects.
According to him, the projects will stimulate economic activities, strengthen local commerce, and improve the standard of living of residents.

“The senator’s empowerment programmes have also touched youths, women and vulnerable groups across Kogi East. These initiatives are fostering unity and building confidence in his representation,” Ibrahim said.
The APC chieftain further applauded Senator Echocho’s efforts at promoting peace and unity, saying sustainable development can only thrive in a stable environment.

He called on youths in Igala land and across Kogi State to shun violence and divisive politics, and instead support programmes that drive progress and community development.
Ibrahim reaffirmed his confidence in Senator Echocho’s leadership and urged continued support for policies and projects aimed at improving the welfare of the people.
